Information for Guests Arriving with Pets
Our hotel warmly welcomes your dog, cat, or other small pet.
Pet fee: HUF 10.000 (€25) / pet / night
Pets can only be accommodated in the same room as their owners and without catering.
If you happen to leave your pet’s favorite bowl at home, no problem, we provide food and water bowls free of charge during your stay, both at the hotel entrance and in the rooms. As an extra touch of care, every pet arriving at our hotel receives a treat courtesy of Josera. For the convenience of pet owners, we also provide dog waste bags.

- Recommendations for nearby dog walking: Tihany Peninsula or Inner Lake of Tihany
Please note that pets are welcome in the rooms, hotel lobby, and restaurant. However, they are not allowed to access the beach area of Hotel Club Tihany, which is otherwise free for hotel guests.
Pet-Friendly Hotel Etiquette (based on guidelines collected by kutyabarat.hu):
- Please keep your dog on a leash at all times outside your room.
- If you are unsure where your dog can be let off-leash near the hotel, feel free to ask our reception staff.
- Do not leave your dog alone in the room for extended periods if it may experience separation anxiety (barking, scratching the door). Before traveling, make sure your dog can stay alone in an unfamiliar environment.
- Please inform hotel staff if your dog is resting in the room (you can use our door hanger sign).
- If your dog likes to sit on the sofa with you, please place a sheet or blanket underneath.
- If your pet leaves waste anywhere on hotel premises, please clean it up and, where possible, ensure such activities take place outside the hotel.
Basic expectations for dogs staying at the hotel:
- Must not be aggressive toward people or other dogs
- Must arrive well-groomed
- Must be protected against fleas
- Must have all legally required vaccinations, and the owner must be able to provide proof
